This package would allow you to not only work on a couple of issues but also spend more time exploring the unique environment of the retreat through therapeutic hiking. You are just about to tie a knot? Ok, I get it, I've been there - so much to think about and sort through. While it is so crucial, it also can be very hard, overwhelming, exhausting and confusing. I can help you go through that in the most gentle way possible. You can consider this as your "pre-wedding" honeymoon.
Depending on the stage of your recovery and the nature of your rehabilitation, I can develop a retreat to help re-gain or discover more physical strength and work through your mental health issues. Wilderness counseling has proven to be a miracle for recovery and rehabilitation because it takes you out of the drag of the routine and gives you new perspectives.

If you one of those people that wish they could go diving but have a fear of doing so, then you can "dive for a retreat" with me. Trust me, I've been there! Learning how to dive can be very stressful and confusing, especially if you are scared of water or claustrophobic.
I can provide pre-diving counseling, mental health support on site (on the boat or on shore), as well as go diving with you, literally "holding your hand". Popular dive spots include: Puhi Bay and Leleiwi in Hilo

If you are one of those people who really want to go see the underwater world, but you are afraid to go out into the ocean and put your face in the mask, submerge yourself in the water and breathe through a weird tube (snorkel), then this service is for you. Especially if you are already in Hawaii and would like to take advantage of the stunning coral reef and turtle viewing snorkeling. This is for individuals only. This service is also offered for children (in the presence of a parent or guardian). Popular snorkeling sites include: Richardson's Beach and Leleiwi,City of Refuge (2 Step), Captain Cook (involves hiking 1,2 ml down hill - one of the most sfrequent chances of swimming with dolphins
Your hiking and/or camping retreat will be specifically designed to meet your mental health needs, goals, ability, time frame and fitness level. It can be a hard-core backpacking trip or an easy camping retreat. It can be a well-established route or a trail off the beaten path. I will provide the orientation to the trails as well as the packing/equipment support. If needed, I will provide pre-hiking counseling where you can address any issues that are on the way of taking on such a journey.
These prices do not include transportation, food, clothes, or gear. Some gear may be provided upon request. Price depends on the number of participants. Location options are weather-permitting. Free consultation and final estimate before arrival is provided.
